Richard is a sprinter who competed and found success at Tokyo 2020 – winning the silver medal in the 4x100m relay before being stripped of the medal due to a doping violation by one of his team mates. He’s also a former World and double European 60m indoor champion. Away from the track, Richard runs an initiative called Playground to Podium that provides free coaching and mentoring for underprivileged children.
When asked what’s the best advice for aspiring athletes, Richard said:
“Always be relentless – no matter how bad things are going, and no matter what the result, just keep moving forward and always find a way to better yourself.”
