Olympic artistic gymnast, Brinn Bevan, is one of Team GB’s rising talents. The 20-year-old was part of the British Men’s team who competed at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, and the silver medal-winning team at the 2015 World Championships. Brinn also won bronze on the pommel horse at the 2015 European Games.
Brinn has been competing in the sport since the age of seven. He was first introduced to gymnastics by his parents, who used it as a way to channel his energy. Since then, Brinn has dedicated himself to improving and competing at the highest level.
In 2015, Brinn suffered a potential career ending injury to his leg which could have destroyed his Rio 2016 Olympic dream. However, as a result of sheer determination, Brinn pushed himself even harder to ensure he could be part of Team GB and successfully compete at his first Olympic Games. He prides himself on setting a good example and inspiring future gymnastic stars.
His future goals include securing his place on the Team GB squad for Tokyo 2020, and challenging the rest of the competition as a strong medal contender.
Brinn trains regularly at Everyone Active’s Basildon Sporting Village.
